Afghanistan star Rashid Khan has plans ready for IPL teammate Yuvraj Singh

Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi will be the first Afghanistan cricket to play in the IPL after being picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Yuvraj Singh, Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan are also on the same team.

Sri Lanka managed to take an 182-run lead in the first innings by bowling out Bangladesh for 312. Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehedi Hasan Miraz looked comfortable in the middle and helped Bangladesh avoid the follow-on but once the Bangladesh captain fell for 85, Bangladesh could not resist more. Bangladesh was 312-9 when bad light stopped play and Tea were taken early. After the break, Sri Lanka needed only two balls to end the innings. The visitors were at one stage slumped to 192/6 but the 106-run stand between Mehedi and Mushfiqur ensured they avoided the follow-on. No play was possible in the final session as rains hit Galle. Play will start 15 minutes early on day four.

Excellent final session for the Lankans and they take the day's honors comfortably. The hosts batted brilliantly to actually more than double the score after tea. Mendis' unbeaten knock stole the thunder from Bangladesh and he was class personified, going past his second 150-plus score. It was a flawless knock after the first-ball reprieve. Gunaratne's innings was equally impressive and although he couldn't get a century, the damage had been done by then. The duo's 196-run stand resurrected the innings after being 92/3 at one stage.
